{"id":2440,"date":"2023-02-06T19:12:36","date_gmt":"2023-02-06T18:12:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oncngs.eu\/?p=2440"},"modified":"2023-02-06T19:12:37","modified_gmt":"2023-02-06T18:12:37","slug":"the-oncngs-consortium-selects-4-innovative-ideas-for-the-research-and-development-of-next-generation-sequencing-solutions-for-cancer-tests","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oncngs.eu\/index.php\/2023\/02\/06\/the-oncngs-consortium-selects-4-innovative-ideas-for-the-research-and-development-of-next-generation-sequencing-solutions-for-cancer-tests\/","title":{"rendered":"The oncNGS consortium selects 4 innovative ideas for the research and development of Next Generation Sequencing solutions for cancer tests"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The eight procurers of the oncNGS consortium, representing healthcare providers from Belgium, Italy, France, Spain and Germany, selected four novel approaches for NGS cancer tests, to start with the research and design of the solutions in <a href=\"https:\/\/oncngs.eu\/index.php\/phase1\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/oncngs.eu\/index.php\/phase1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Phase 1<\/a> of the oncNGS Pre-Commercial Procurement Procedure. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the preparation phase including the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/oncngs.eu\/index.php\/omc\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/oncngs.eu\/index.php\/omc\/\" target=\"_blank\">Open Market Consultation<\/a> events, and the release of the oncNGS <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/oncngs.eu\/index.php\/call-for-tenders\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/oncngs.eu\/index.php\/call-for-tenders\/\" target=\"_blank\">Call for Tenders<\/a>, 7 tenders were submitted of which 4 got awarded with oncNGS framework agreement and Phase 1 contracts. The Contract Notice \u2018Results of the procurement procedure\u2019 of the Call for tender of the oncNGS PCP project has been published in the European Tenders Electronic Daily <a href=\"https:\/\/ted.europa.eu\/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:75218-2023:TEXT:EN:HTML&amp;tabId=0\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The awarded tenderers that will implement Phase 1 \u2013 Solution Design are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>  &#8211; HUFIAT Cancer Liquidation consortium (lead: Euformatics Oy, other members: Oncompass Medicine; ViennaLab Diagnostics GmbH) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>&#8211; oncoDNA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>&#8211; Agilent Technologies Belgium<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>&#8211; KU Leuven RnD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Phase 1, which will last 4 months, suppliers will need to demonstrate the technical, financial and commercial feasibility of the proposed concepts and approaches to meet the procurement requirements.
